Friday Apple Rumors: Images Show Possible Flex Cables for iPhone 6

aapl-appleSapphire: A new rumors claims that Apple’s (AAPL) iWatch is being delayed due to a shortage in supply of Sapphire glass, SlashGear notes. The rumor claims that the iWatch won’t be getting an October release and will instead be pushed back to November. Apple has built a factory in Arizona specifically to create Sapphire glass, but the company’s rumored “busy month” in October could be putting strain on its supplies.

Stickers: Sales of Stickers for MacBooks have soared following an Apple commercial featuring the items, reports AppleInsider. The commercial that is likely behind the sale surge aired in July and showed several MacBooks that had been customized with stickers to give them some personal flair. Following the airing of the ad, The Decal Guru, an online shop for decals, saw MacBook sticker sales quadruple.

Cables: New images of what claim to be flex cables and home button cables for the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions of the iPhone 6 have been revealed. The images show off possible cables for Apple’s upcoming iPhone and there are a few differences from the current generation iPhone. One notable difference is that the shown flex cable doesn’t include the FaceTime camera that is located on the iPhone 5s’ flex cable.
