AMZN: Amazon Prime Members Now Get Unlimited Photo Storage

Amazon (AMZN) introduced a new feature for Prime members on Tuesday that gives them unlimited photo storage.

amazon-prime-amznAmazon Prime members are now able to store an unlimited number of photos via the Amazon Cloud Drive. The new service doesn’t cost any additional price to Prime members. Users can also set up the service to automatically store new photos that are taken.

Amazon Prime Photos allows users to upload devices to the company Cloud Drive from several devices. This includes devcies running Apple’s (AAPL) iOS or Google’s (GOOG) Android, Amazon Fire devices and Mac and Windows computers. The photos can also be viewed on several devices, including the Fire TV, Sony’s (SNE) PS3 and PS4, select smart TVs and more.

“This time of year in particular, families are capturing thousands of photos of holiday parties, family gatherings and opening presents,” Greg Greeley, Vice President Amazon Prime, said in a statement. “With free unlimited photo storage, we’re providing one more reason for members to use Prime every day.”
