The Chick-fil-A app has been upgraded to include two new features.
Users of the Chick-fil-A app will now notice that they have the ability to place orders and make payments within via the app. The new features were added to the app on Monday. Chick-fil-A has been testing out mobile ordering in pilot areas since 2013.
Here are a few things to know about the updated Chick-fil-A app.
- Chick-fil-A locations nationwide now accept mobile payments with the app.
- Users of the app load it with funds via credit or debit cards.
- Paying with the app gives users a QR code that can be scanned at a drive-thru or register.
- The mobile ordering section of the app is limited to 130 Chick-fil-A locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando and Washington, D.C.
- Mobile ordering on the app can’t currently be used for breakfast orders or catering.
- The Chick-fil-A app is available on devices running Apple’s (AAPL) iOS and Google’s (GOOG) Android.
