The GoDaddy puppy ad was pulled because it didn’t sit well with animal lovers. The commercial features a young Golden Retriever named Buddy that falls from the back of a pickup truck. He struggles to return home only to be sold by his owner, reports The New York Daily News.

Animal activists claim that the GoDaddy puppy ad was promoting puppy mills and that this promotes abuse toward animals. CEO Blake Irving apologized for the ad and said the company will be adding a different ad to Super Bowl commercials 2015, The New York Daily News notes.

Following the controversy over its puppy ad, GoDaddy also pulled it from YouTube.

While the ad was pulled from YouTube by GoDaddy, this hasn’t stopped others from uploading it to the website. Check out the removed puppy ad below.
