Here are a few things to know about Twitter group messaging.

  • Group messaging can include up to 20 people.
  • The feature is started by one person choosing their followers.
  • Users in the group messaging don’t have to follow each other.
  • A notification will appear to alert users when they’ve been invited to a group chat.
  • Emoji, links and Tweets can be used in group chats.
