A patent filed by AMZN regarding drone delivery was approved near the end of last month. The patent lists several interesting features that could be included with the Amazon drone delivery system, reports Business Insider.

The Amazon Drone patent reveals that the company is planning for its drones to be able to track customers via GPS. AMZN’s delivery system would also have the drones actively avoiding people and communicating for safer travel. Landing would be done with a pilot at first, but the drone would remember the process for the next delivery, Business Insider notes.

AMZN has had trouble getting its drones off the ground due to restrictions from the FAA. However, the organization recently lifted some of its bans to allow outside testing for certain Amazon drones.
