Not happy with that last email you sent off? If you used Google’s (GOOG,GOOGL) Gmail, you can take it back.

gmail-undo-send-goog-googlGoogle has officially introduced the “Undo Send” ability to its email service. The feature allows users to do exactly what it says, so long as they take action within 5 seconds and 30 seconds. The exact time to take back an email can be changed in a user’s “Settings”, reports VentureBeat.

The Gmail Undo Send feature was first introduced in 2009 and has been in testing until now. Users that are interested in taking advantage of the feature can turn it on via their Settings. It’s located under the “General” tab, VentureBeat notes.

Gmail’s Undo Send feature doesn’t actually bring sent email back. Instead, it places a delay on email being sent to give users time to cancel them if they choose, reports The Consumerist.
