Activision Blizzard (ATVI) Stock Hits All-Time High

Activision Blizzard (ATVI) saw a huge jump in its stock following its Q2 2015 earnings report.

activision-blizzard-atviActivision Blizzard reported non-GAAP net revenue of $759 million for the second quarter of 2015. This surpassed the $658 million in net revenue that the company reported during the same time last year.

Activision Blizzard reported non-GAAP earnings per share of 13 cents for Q2 2015. This was much higher than the 6 cents per share in earnings that the company reported during the second quarter of 2014.

Activision Blizzard attributed its strong results for the second quarter of 2015 to its ever growing player base. It also noted that sales of season passes for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare were strong and that micro-transactions are still pushing profits nine months after the game’s release.

Activision Blizzard also raised its outlook for the next quarter in its most recent earnings report. It’s now expecting net revenue to be at 930 million with earnings per share sitting at 14 cents.

Following its earnings report for the second quarter of 2015, Activision Blizzard saw its stock jump to the highest it’s ever been. ATVI stock was up 13% as of Noon Wednesday and had a price just above $29.
