Google (GOOG,GOOGL) has released a new website for Google Hangouts.

The launching of the Google Hangouts website offers users of the service a place to connect that doesn’t require them to sign in to Gmail, Google+ or the Hangout Extension. It also offers users the ability to continue conversations on their mobile devices through the service’s app, reports Forbes.

“We are launching another way to use Hangouts today,” Jordanna Chord, a Google employee, announced via a Google+ post. “From our new site you’ll be able to take advantage of the best of Hangouts in the browser, along with an inspiring image to get you through the day.”

Here are a few things to know about the new Google Hangouts website, as collected from Forbes.

  • Group chats allow up to 100 people.
  • Chats can include GIFs, emoji, photos, stickers and maps.
  • Video calls can support 10 people.
  • Video calls will be started in new tabs.
  • The website features quick links for video and voice calling, as well as messaging.
