Basic materials stocks declined on Wall Street on Friday, down 2.0%.
More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.5%, the Nasdaq was down 1.2% and the S&P 500 declined 1.5%.

- New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is up 4.0% today.
- Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK): BAK stock is up 2.0%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM): SQM stock is up 1.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Stillwater Mining Company (SWC): SWC stock is up 1.4% today.
- Sonoco Products Company (SON): SON stock is up 0.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Balchem Corp (BCPC): BCPC stock is up 0.4% today.
- Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Domtar Corp (UFS): UFS stock is up 0.2% today.
- Compass Minerals Intl Inc (CMP): CMP stock is up 0.2% today.

- Carpenter Technology Corp (CRS): CRS stock is down 4.3% today.
- Georgia Gulf Corp (AXLL): AXLL stock is down 3.8% today.
- E.I. Du Pont De Nemours and Company (DD): DD stock is down 3.3% today.
- Trex Company (TREX): TREX stock is down 3.2% today.
- Ball Corp (BLL): BLL stock is down 3.2% today.
- Huntsman Corp (HUN): HUN stock is down 3.1% today.
- Owens-Illinois (OI): OI stock is down 2.9% today.
- Cameco Corp (CCJ): CCJ stock is down 2.7% today.
- Airgas Inc (ARG): ARG stock is down 2.7% today.
- Clearwater Paper Corp (CLW): CLW stock is down 2.7% today.
