Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) is making the Google Cardboard experience more interactive.
The tech giant has launched an application for Android devices that allows you to take virtual reality photos and look at them on the app later on.
The app works in the following manner: you put your phone in a vertical position, tap the camera button and move it in a circle, making a full 360-degree turn.
Sound gets recorded as you take the picture. The end result is a three-dimensional panorama where you can see things near, far, in front, to your sides or behind.
GOOG stock is down 1.4% Thursday. GOOGL stock is down 1.4%.
