apple-rumors-multi-camera-zoom-aaplWaterproofCatalyst has released a third-party case for the Apple (AAPL) Watch that waterproofs it, reports Digital Trends. The waterproof case for the Watch was shown off at CES 2016 and saw a release earlier this year. The case makes the smartwatch a little more bulky than what others do, but it still retains a simple design that doesn’t stick out too much. The case is rated to work under five atmospheres of pressure. However, the Watch itself will malfunction if put under two atmospheres of pressure. This waterproof case costs $60.

Beta: Apple has released the second OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan beta to developers and public beta testers, MacRumors notes. This new beta has a build of 15D13b and has a focus on fixing bugs and other issues with the operating system. This means that the updated  beta doesn’t contain much in the way of new features or changes that will be noticed by the average user. It can be downloaded from Mac App Store or the AAPL Developer Center.

Camera: An Apple patent for a new camera system has been filed, reports AppleInsider. The new patent describes a system that would have a device, such as an iPhone, equipped with two cameras that will both take pictures at the same time. This would allow users to zoom in on their target without the quality degrading. After the user has chosen how zoomed in the image should be, the two images will be combined into a single image that takes into account for the different perspectives of the cameras.
