A new rumor concerning Final Fantasy XV claims that it will be coming out later this year.
According to this rumor, which comes from Gematsu, the game will be released on September 30 for Microsoft Corporation’s (MSFT) Xbox One and Sony Corp (ADR)’s (SNE) PlayStation 4. The publication claims that it’s information comes from three reliable sources.
Final Fantasy XV was first announced by Square Enix in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. It was originally supposed to be a PlayStation 3 title, but changed to its new title in 2013. The game’s release date will be officially announced at the “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” event on March 30, Gematsu notes.
