A new Overwatch leak has been unveiled, possibly containing the game’s protagonist.
The sequel — developed by Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI) — will be led by Sombra, an esoteric character that leads the charge of this first-person shooter. The company teased the image by saying she “will be hacking her way into the build later tonight.”
The concept likely refers to the testing of the new Overwatch title before it is ready to be released. She appears to be wearing purple, long hair on the right side of her head, shaved hair with two lines on the left side and a large weapon.
Other characters that have already been leaked in a comic book and may potentially be in the game include Reaper, who wears jack-o’-lanters ahead of Halloween.
Junkrat and Roadhog look like Frankenstein and the doctor’s monster, which could be part of a new way of playing Overwatch. Zomnics are the evil allies of these creatures, consisting of zombie-versions of the first game’s Omnics.
The game consists of two teams of six where each group is divided into four classes: Offense, Defense, Tank and Support. You have to reach certain parts of the map to claim them, while simultaneously defending your own land.
The 2016 game has proved to be a massive hit, garnering mostly 9/10 and 10/10 from a number of major, including Gamespot and The Escapist.
ATVI shares slipped 0.3% Monday.
