Pokemon Go fans will be happy to hear that the FastPokeMap is returning.

Pokemon GoThe app was originally banned as third-party capabilities have received strict bans, with developer Niantic announcing that those caught with cheating or third-party apps will receive sanctions that may go up to lifetime bans.

However, the Pokemon GO “map and scanner” known as FastPokeMap has widely been considered to be a positive addition to the game that enhances the experience rather than hinder it or weaken it.

Some tweaks have been done as the developer was asked to reverse engineer some of its capabilities, eliminating some features that existed within FastPokeMap.

There are some legal ramifications to the situation, but Pokemon Go developers may work in unison with the app to ensure that it does not break any laws surrounding the game.

The website is up and running again, encouring you to “track ’em all.” Pokemon Go fans will also be excited to hear about a new spooky event that will exist before, during and after Halloween.

From Wednesday, October 26 through November 1, a Pokemon Go event will exist that will increase the chances of getting a “spooky” creature, including Drowzee, Zubat, Gastly, Haunted, Gengar and Hypno.

Additionally, catching a Pokemon during this span will net you six candies rather than the usual six. You will also get four candies rather than one when walking alongside a friend for a certain distance.
