Tuesday Apple Rumors: 2017 May Include Three New iPhones

Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of three new iPhone devices coming out in 2017. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Wednesday.

Apple Rumors, iPhone, 2017, AAPL2017 iPhones: A new rumor claims that Apple will release three version of its iPhone in 2017, reports AppleInsider. According to this rumor, the tech company will release a 4.7-inch model and two 5.5-inch models next year. Both of the 5.5-inch models will have two rear-facing cameras, but the 4.7-inch won’t. One of the 5.5-inch smartphones will have an OLED display. The other will use a LCD display, as will the 4.7-inch one. This rumor comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

MacBook Pro SSD: A teardown of the 15-inch MacBook Pro With Touch Bar shows that it has a non-removable SSD, MacRumors notes. The SSD is soldered down. This means customers won’t be able to switch out for different storage options. Another report claims that this is the same in the 13-inch MacBook Pro With Touch Bar. The 13-inch MacBook Pro that doesn’t have the Touch Bar does reportedly have a removable SSD.

Super Mario RunNintendo Co., Ltd (ADR)’s (OTCMKTS:NTDOY) Super Mario Run now has a release date and price. The new mobile game will be coming out for iPhone and iPad devices on Dec. 15, 2016. The game allows players to try out a small portion for free, but it requires a one-time purchase of $9.99 to unlock all six worlds. There will also be three different modes –World Tour, Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder– for players to experience.
