Black Friday is quickly approaching and Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) has announced its Thanksgiving hours.

Black FridayThe company already revealed that Black Friday will get an early beginning as the company will open its doors at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. As far as Thanksgiving day opens, you will be able to be with your family and watch the NFL games as the retailer’s doors won’t open until 6 p.m.

Target has a slate of deals on Black Friday that are in line with its competitors, including a very affordable television. You can get a 50-inch Hisense 4K UHD TV for the low price of $249.99.

It wasn’t that long ago that all retailers closed to honor Turkey Day as the last Thursday of November was strictly designed for families to gather round and eat all the delicious food of the pilgrims, including turkey, yams, potato salad, gravy, stuffing and pumpkin pie.

However, the growing passion for shopping sprees and the commercialization that now dominates the holidays has prompted most major retailers to open their doors during Thanksgiving Day, causing some families to finish their meal early, while others are unable to watch the late afternoon football game.

Additionally, the fervent desire to get the best deal out there on Black Friday has caused some companies to create a slate of online deals on the holiday that you can check out as well. Target.com offers Black Friday deals earlier in the day.

TGT shares surged 7.2% Wednesday.
