Apple-Branded TV Set to Feature Motion Detection, iPad-Style Remote: Reports circulating at a Taiwanese industry trade show indicate that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) will release its own TV set featuring motion detection technology and a touchscreen remote control that looks like a small iPad, Apple Insider reports. The motion-detection feature will allow users to interact with the TV, possibly controlling it with gestures. The remote control unit is rumored to strongly resemble the iPad, but features a plastic, rather than aluminum, back.

Apple Launches MacBook Pro With Retina Display:

Apple has unveiled a new 15.4-inch MacBook Pro featuring a Retina Display at its Worldwide Developers Conference, which kicks off today, Apple Insider says. The new MacBook Pro measures just 0.71 inches thick and features USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt and an HDMI-out jack. The company says the new MacBook Pro has the highest resolution of any laptop on the market.

365 Million iOS Devices Sold Through March: At the WWDC today, Apple officials said the company has sold 365 million iOS devices through March 30, 9to5Mac reports. There are now 140 million iMessage users, who have sent more than 150 billion messages on the service. The company also announced that users have created more than 130 million accounts in the iOS Game Center.
