Amazon (AMZN) Elements is a new brand of products from the online retailer.

Amazon Elements products are only available to those who have signed up for a Prime account, which costs $99 a year. The launch of the in-house products includes diapers and baby wipes and is expected to include more general household items in the future, reports GeekWire.

One unique trait of Amazon Elements items is the ability to look up specific information regarding the products. Those who buy an Elements product can scan a code on it to track where everything in it comes from. This includes where the item was made and where ingredients in it originate from, GeekWire notes.

Amazon Elements products can also be purchased by Amazon Mom members, which requires an additional $20 subscription on top of Prime. Members of Mom are able to get the cheapest price on Elements products. Mom members can currently buy Elements diapers for as little as 22 cents a piece while Prime members pay 27 cents a piece, reports PC World.
