Target (TGT) holiday hours have been announced and the retailer will not open on Christmas Day.
Most of the chain’s stores are open on December 24 until 10 p.m. Target will not be open on December 25 but the retailer will reopen its doors on December 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
The company reported third-quarter earnings in November that exceeded analysts’ estimates. Target’s impressive quarter suggests that the TGT stock turnaround appears to be working.
The store recently took a stand in Australia when it decided to stop selling Grand Theft Auto 5 following a petition from concerned mothers regarding the game’s violent content.
Several other major retailers will also open on December 24 including Kohl’s, Best Buy and Walmart.
TGT stock is up 0.1% Wednesday afternoon.
