T-Mobile (TMUS) is allowing some of its customer free video streaming through its Binge On service.
Binge On is a service from T-Mobile that offer free streaming from a variety of different streaming services, such as Netflix (NFLX) and Hulu
. The feature has been designed so that customers can stream more video on their devices and the company has also optimized videos to take up less data.
Here are a few things to know about T-Mobile’s Binge On.
- The new feature will go live on Sunday.
- It’s a free addition to all customers with at least a 3GB data plan.
- Customer below a 3GB data plan still get access to the optimized videos for mobile devices.
- Videos streamed through the feature are locked in at 480p.
- Customers with unlimited data plans will get a free video rental from Vudu every month in 2016.
