Ice cream fans that are hoping to get their hands on a free Dairy Queen Blizzard are in luck.
A new offer from the restaurant chain will allow customers to pick up one free Dairy Queen Blizzard. However, there are a few things they need to know about the offer before running off to their local store.
The offer is only available for one free Dairy Queen Blizzard of the treat size. Also, customers can’t just walk in and expect a free DQ Blizzard. Instead, they will have to download the company’s mobile app and register for an account.
There are still some other restrictions to keep in mind about this offer. First off, the deal will only be available at participating locations in the U.S. Customers living in Texas are also out of luck as the mobile deals from the app are available to them.
That’s a few hoops to jump through for sure, but it is still a free Dairy Queen Blizzard. The mobile app also regularly includes other offers for customers. This includes buy-one-get-one-free deals for some of the chain’s cold treats.
Dairy Queen is also working on adding mobile ordering to its app. Unfortunately, this feature is still in testing, which means that it is only available to customers getting their food from locations in Fort Wayne and Evansville, Ind.
The Dairy Queen mobile app is available to download for devices running Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Alphabet’s (NASDAQ:GOOG,GOOGL) Android mobile operating systems.
