Cardano (ADA-USD) price predictions are on the minds of crypto traders Thursday as the Vasil hard fork is set to take place today!
The Vasil hard fork is an upgrade to the crypto’s blockchain that will see it switch over to a new set of rules and protocols. However, unlike most hard forks, there will be no network shutdown and restart.
To go along with that, Cardano is utilizing its Hard Fork Combinator to benefit traders from before the change. This allows it to keep the old rules and new rules, while also maintaining the history of the blocks prior to the hard fork.
Investors in Cardano have been anxiously awaiting this hard fork as it’s been delayed since its original June launch. Luckily, the company behind the crypto has met its three critical mass indicators that will allow for the upgrade. That means traders shouldn’t see another delay.
