Frisch’s CEO Aziz Hashim claims that Big Boy will be perfect for expansion due to it being an iconic American brand that has “tremendous growth potential.” The expansion will include a shift in focus of the stores in an attempt to appeal to younger customers, reports the Associated Press.

Plans for the Big Boy expansion include opening more restaurants in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. The company also wants to start opening restaurants in Tennessee. Hashim says that it will remain dedicated to current customers while drawing in new ones with more coffee flavors, appetizers, and a new contract with Coca-Cola (KO), the Associated Press notes.

Hashim said that Big Boy employees that fear jobs cuts shouldn’t be worried. He said that the company is actually looking to hire more people as needed. The Frisch’s CEO said that several Big Boy locations were closed in the last few years and more cuts won’t be needed, reports USA Today.
