Disney‘s (NYSE:DIS) Guardians of the Galaxy 2 cast has been announced and it includes two star actors.
The seemingly ageless action talent that is Kurt Russell is the most breathtaking addition to the juggernaut sci-fi series Guardians of the Galaxy. He has starred in classics such as Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China and Quentin Tarantino’s latest film,
The Hateful Eight.
Rising talent and French beauty Elizabeth Debicki is also joining the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 cast. She’s received praise recently for her performances in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Great Gatsby as Jordan Baker, and Lady Macduff in the 2015 film adaptation of Macbeth.
The rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 cast includes the familiar faces of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Glenn Close and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket.
Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro will not reprise their role from the first installation of the film series.
DIS stock is up 2.79% Wednesday.
