Orlando Brown — star of the hit Disney (NYSE:DIS) show That’s So Raven — allegedly hit his girlfriend outside a police station.
The actor was arrested in January 2016, facing charges for the alleged domestic battery incident. Brown reportedly struck his girlfriend while in the parking lot of a Torrance, Calif. police station.
The 28-year-old and the girl got in an argument that turned violent. A witness using a nearby ATM noticed the commotion and contacted police.
Brown refused to exit his vehicle when law enforcement arrived. He was eventually arrested, put in jail–later on, the police allegedly found meth on his person.
His girlfriend’s injuries were not serious. Brown has been charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, obstruction of justice and two felonies for drug possession with the intent to sell and having contraband while in prison.
This isn’t Brown’s first run-in with the law as an audiotape emerged in August 2014, revealing the actor threatening to murder a woman, her daughter and her mom in North Hollywood, Calif. He was then charged with two counts of disturbing the peace and public intoxication, but later struck plea deal and just had to pay a fine.
Brown played Eddie Thomas, Raven-Symone’s best friend in That’s So Raven.
