Michael Sayman, 18, announced that he had landed the job via Facebook. He will join the company’s team as a full-time engineer. The social media website backed up Sayman’s claim that it had hired him, but refused to say anymore about it, reports Bloomberg.

Sayman started at Facebook with a summer internship. He was brought out to meet CEO Mark Zuckerberg and start his internship after the company noticed he was using its tools for developers in an Apple (AAPL) iPhone app that he had developed, Bloomberg notes.

The app created by Sayman with the company’s tools for developers that drew Mark Zuckerberg’s attention is 4 Snaps. 4 Snaps is a mobile game that has roughly 500,000 players, reports ValueWalk.

“When I got the email saying — oh my god — Mark Zuckerberg wants to meet you, I had to make sure nobody was playing a prank on me,” Sayman told Bloomberg earlier this summer.”It was just incredible to be able to meet him.”
