The new Satire tag has already been seen attached to several stories that have come from The Onion, which deals mostly if fake news. The tag was confirmed by a Facebook spokesperson who said it was created due to feedback from users that sought better ways to identify fake news stories, reports Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The Satire tag is currently only in testing. Depending on user feedback, the tag could be removed. However, it’s also possible that the tag will become a permanent feature on Facebook and expand to include many more websites that offer up fake and satirical news stories, BBC News notes.

Facebook isn’t the only website that marks satirical news stories. Google (GOOG) has been doing to same with fake news stories that appear in its Google News feed, reports Atlanta Journal Constitution.

FB shares were up 1% as of Monday afternoon.
