International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM) CEO Virginia Rometty is getting a pay raise and bonus despite the company’s poor performance.

ceo-ibmBusiness Insider reports that Rometty is getting a pay raise from $1.5 million in 2014 to $1.6 million in 2015. She is also being given a $3.6 million bonus out of a possible $4 million. This all comes as IBM completes a second year of declining revenue.

When IBM saw declining revenues in 2013, Rometty and her senior staff didn’t take their cash bonuses. She also has a low approval rating of 48% from employees at the company. The raise and bonus may not sit well with the company’s employees, reports Business Insider.

IBM hasn’t revealed the reasons behind its decision to give out bonuses in 2014. However, more details will likely become available during the company’s April proxy report, USA Today notes.

IBM shares were down slightly as of Monday afternoon.
