Monday Apple Rumors: Apple Stores May Start Taking Android Trade-Ins

The fourth OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta was released to developers and members of the company’s public beta. This beta has a build identification of “14D105g.” It is almost identical to the third OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta that was released last week. However, one key difference is that it resolves an issues that kept the beta from working on the 2015 Retina MacBook Pro and MacBook Air devices.

Trade: Apple is rumored to be working on a program that would offer trade-in credit for Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) Android devices, 9to5Mac notes. The new program is rumored to be starting within the next few weeks. Apple Store employees will determine the value of an Android device and offer trade-in credit or gift cards towards iPhones. The program is also rumored to accept other smartphones besides Android ones and will be similar to the company’s current iPhone trade-in program.

Stores: Several Apple Stores around the world have started putting up graphics and display pieces for the Apple Watch launch, reports AppleInsider. The images being added to the retail locations include blown up images of the Watch. This allows customers a better look at the device before it’s released on April 24. Along with the Watch images, Stores have also been adding promotional material for the upcoming 12-inch Retina MacBook that will go on sale on April 10.
