Tuesday Apple Rumors: Apple Pay Users Are Having Trouble Using It

apple-rumors-pay-problems-aaplPay: A new study claims that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Pay users are running into troubles with the service, reports MacRumors. According to the study, two-thirds of Pay users have ran into trouble while trying to use the service to complete a transaction. The study also found that in it’s four months of being available, the users of the service have only made 2.6 transactions. Problems reported include the cashier not knowing about the service and being double charged. It’s believed that these issues could be hurting the growth of Pay.

Earnings: Apple has announced that it will be holding its Q2 earnings call on April 27, AppleInsider notes. The conference call, which will start at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, will give investors an update on how the company has done during its second quarter of 2015. The call will be lead by company executives and invited investors will be given time to ask questions about the company’s plans. Revenue and other figures that will be reported during the call are expected to be down when compared to the last quarter due to it taking place during the holiday season.

CarPlay: A new app has been given support for Apple’s CarPlay system, reports 9to5Mac. Users of CarPlay can now use the Audio Books for iPhone app in conjunction with it. This will allow users to listen to audiobooks while driving. The app has over 60,000 audiobooks and 2,500 on them are free to listen to. An account isn’t required to use the app with CarPlay.
