Burger King Chicken Fries Return (for Good!)

Burger King Worldwide (NYSE:BKW) has announced that it’s bringing Chicken Fries back to its menu.

However, this time the fast-food chain is making the item a permanent addition. The chicken strips shaped like fries will also be added to the menu in 30 countries around the world, reports USA Today.

Burger King is celebrating the permanent addition of Chicken Fries to its menu with a custom emoji keyboard for Google (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) Android and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS users. The menu item costs $2.89 for nine pieces and includes a selection of several dipping sauces, USA Today notes.

Burger King’s decision to permanently add Chicken Fries to its menu comes after McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) brought Chicken Selects back to its menu. However, Chicken Selects are only available for a limited time.
