IKEA showed off new furniture that will be able to charge smartphones at the Mobile World Congress on Monday.

ikeaThe new line of furniture that can charge devices is called “Home Smart”. The technology in the new furniture will allow many devices to be charged just by being placed on them with the assistance of QI technology. IKEA will also release special cases for Samsung and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) phones that aren’t compatible with QI charging, reports BBC News.

The Home Smart line of smartphone-charging furniture from IKEA will include coffee tables, lamps and bedside stands. The new line of furniture will go in sale in the United States and United Kingdom starting next month, BBC News notes.

“Through research and home visits, we know that people hate cable mess,” Jeanette Skjelmose, a corporate manager at IKEA, told Time. “They worry about not finding the charger and running out of power. Our new innovative solutions, which integrate wireless charging into home furnishings, will make life at home simpler.”
