ISIS posted a message to Pastebin on Sunday that threatened Twitter employees and the company’s co-founder. The group told the company  that the “virtual war on us will cause a real war on you.” The social media website has banned many accounts belonging to the terrorist group after they posted beheading videos and other threats, reports Reuters.

Twitter said it’s looking into the threats made by ISIS with the help of authorities to determine how relevant they are. The terrorist group has also used the social media platform to organize events. Twitter has said that it doesn’t “proactively monitor content”, but it does remove content that breaks its policies, Reuters notes.

In September 2014, a Twitter account that was believed to have belonged to ISIS members also threatened Twitter employees. It asked “lone wolves” in the United States and Europe to attack the company’s workers.
