Bungie has announced that there will be weapon changes coming in the Destiny 2.0 update.
Bungie said that one of the biggest changes that will be implemented in Destiny 2.0 will be the balancing of weapons. It notes that many users have complained about how powerful the Thorn is and that it’s own data backs up this claim. It will be getting nerfed in the update.
The Destiny 2.0 update will be released in September right before The Taken King DLC. It’s will be the largest update that Bungie has made to the game to date. It will also include changes to classes and other updates to the game’s Sandbox mode.
