Images of what are claimed to be Microsoft’s (MSFT) Band 2 have been leaked.
The Microsoft Band 2 photos that were leaked show a device with a curved display. This means that the device will likely better conform to wearers’ wrists. There’s also talk that it will have the ability to track the number of stairs its wearer climbs, reports PC World.
There’s not actually a whole lot known about the Microsoft Band 2. The first version of Band launched without much fanfare and little in the way of updates. It’s possible that the Band 2 will be officially announced at the company’s press event in October, PC World notes.
Rumor has it that the Microsoft Band 2 will feature further integration with Cortana. It’s believed that the virtual assistant will be able to perform various tasks through the wearable via the wearer’s voice. The leaked images show that the Band 2 could have a silicone wrist band, reports International Business Times.
