‘Under the Dome’ Canceled by CBS After 3 Seasons

CBS (CBS) has announced that it’s canceling Under the Dome after its third season.

under-the-dome-canceledUnder the Dome, which is based on a Stephen King novel, has seen a decline in viewers since it launched and won’t be renewed for another season. CBS said that the final episode of season three will act as the series finale and will answer many fans’ questions, reports Deadline.

Fans of the series, or those that want to check, can still watch it via Amazon (AMZN) Prime Video after it goes off the air. Episodes from the show are streamed via the service shortly after they air on TV and all three season will continue to be available after the series ends. The series premiered in June of 2013, Deadline notes.

As the Dome in Chester’s Mill comes down, the Resistance makes a final attempt to protect the outside world from the infected townspeople in the Kinship and their new queen, on the third season finale of Under The Dome.
