apple-rumors-screen-protector-aaplApps: Apple (AAPL) is now asking developers to submit their tvOS apps for review, reports MacRumors. The tech company has posted guidelines for developers to give them an idea of what their apps will need to pass a review. Allowing developers to start submitting tvOS apps now will give the company roughly a week to look over apps for review before the new set-top box is delivered to customers. Submitted apps have a 200MB limit, but can have an additional 20GB of content available for download.

Test: Apple is already reportedly testing iOS 9.2 internally, 9to5Mac notes. According to the publication, it has seen an increase in the number of users that are running iOS 9.2 on AAPL devices following the release of iOS 9.1. This is likely more employees at Apple that have switched to testing out the new mobile operating system. It’s unknown exactly what iOS 9.2 will contain in the way of features and changes for the company’s devices. It’s possible the update will be dedicated to fixing bugs that will be found in iOS 9.1 on the iPad Pro, which will launch with iOS 9.1.

Screen: Apple has been granted a patent for a system that would protect screens from falls, reports AppleInsider. The new screen protector system detailed in the patent has four small holes placed near the corners of the devices screen. The screen protector system would sense when a device is falling and would have small tabs pop out of the holes. These tabs could possibly keep the device from landing on its screen and cracking. The sensors in the device would alert the screen protector tabs of when the fall has ended and would pull them back into the device.
