Miitomo will be a free-to-play smartphone game that will include in-app purchases. The game will have users create Miis and will let them share information with friends in an effort to find common interest, reports Cnet.

“”What we would like to realise is, through such communication, you will be able to deepen friendly relationships and have more people with whom you can play games,” Tatsumi Kimishima, the president of Nintendo, told Wired.

Miitomo will be available for smartphones running Apple’s (AAPL) iOS and Google’s (GOOG,GOOGL) Android. It was supposed to be released before the end of the year, but has now been delayed to March of 2016. It’s being made via a partnership with developer DeNA, Cnet notes.

NTDOY shares were down 11% as of Thursday afternoon.
