In what is likely an attempt to put bad reviews on an app from the tech company, Android owners have been hitting the new app with negative reviews. This includes 170 reviews that give the app a single star out of 5. These reviews have resulted in the app having a rating of 2.1 stars on the Google Play Store. Several of the reviews are critical of AAPL and don’t talk about the app at all.

App: Apple has released a new app for in-door GPS, MacRumors notes. The new app was launched without much in the way of announcement and isn’t fully functional yet. Its name is Indoor Survey and it allows users of the company’s devices to map the inside of buildings. A search for the app on the App Store won’t bring up any results for the app and it can only be discovered through iTunes. The system it uses for mapping the inside of a building is similar to what the company uses in its own Store locations.

Switch: Facebook (FB) is forcing some of its employees to stop using their Apple iPhones, reports AppleInsider. The social media company is forcing its employees to switch from iPhones to Android devices. This switch is being pushed by the company’s chief product officer. The reason for the switch is that the company wants employees to see its mobile platform from the devices that the majority of its users access it with.
