According to this report, the tech company has a lab in Taiwan where it is working on new screens for its mobile devices, such as the iPhone and iPad. The lab that it’s rumored to be working in used to belong to Qualcomm (QCOM) and is staffed by former employees of display companies. This news comes from insider sources that remain unnamed.

Plant: Apple is believed to have bought a former semiconductor manufacturing plant, 9to5Mac notes. Reports claim that the company bought an old semiconductor plant from Maxim Integrated Products (MXIM) last week located in North San Jose. It’s believed that it paid $18.2 million for the building, which takes up 70,000 square feet. It’s unknown exactly what the tech company plans to due with the new building.

iPad: A new rumor claims that a popular iPhone 6s feature won’t be coming to the iPad Air 3, reports AppleInsider. According to this rumor, which comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple doesn’t intend to incorporate 3D Touch into its iPad Air 3. The reason that it isn’t planning to add 3D Touch to the iPad Air 3 is due to restrictions in its manufacturing lines. Kuo doesn’t believe that manufacturers could meet demands for the tablets if 3D Touch is included. He also believes that AAPL plans to release the new iPad Air 3 sometime during the Spring of 2016.
