Google‘s (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL) Inbox by Gmail has three new features.
The tech giant announced that the functionalities coded into its mail service are now designed to be even more helpful to its everyday users.
Important events and anything else you’ve got marked down on your Google calendar will now be easier to keep up with thanks to the new Inbox by Gmail. The company’s Calendar is linked to the mailing services to facilitate this aspect of your digital life.
Another feature being rolled out by Google is a newsletter element that makes it easier for you to read them. The Inbox shows you a piece of the newsletters you are subscribed to, helping you to get your daily dose of topics that interest you.
Finally, Inbox by Gmail allows you to save web links and pass them along in a more convenient manner. Basically, links can be saved to your mailbox and send them to one or more of your contacts.
A feature was released last fall that allows you to block senders in Gmail.
GOOG stock is down 5.3% Friday. GOOGL stock is down 5.4%.
