McDonald's NYSE:MCDFast food giant McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) could soon be offering breakfast all day long.

Chain CEO Don Thompson indicated that changes are coming to the chain — including the potential for 24-hour McMuffins and maybe delivery — to make it more competitive, CNBC reports.

Among the things Thompson said the chain is considering implementing were using delivery services and mobile ordering and a frequent customer loyalty rewards program. In all, Thompson said that the company is considering up to 160 new ideas to drive growth and increase store sales.

Thompson said that some of the ideas — such as delivery and all-day breakfast — are already implemented in some markets in the U.S. and overseas. The company uses foreign markets to test products and ideas — the recent rollouts of Fish McBites and the Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie are examples — before bringing them to the U.S.

The new ideas and tastes are an attempt by the restaurant chain to broaden its customer base. Of particular interest are millennials, who are accustomed to operating in a quick world.

“We have tests already all around the world, making steps and strides to experiment both in mobile payments and consumer engagement with the company”, Thompson said.
