Panera Bread Co (NASDAQ:PNRA) is removing 150 “fake” ingredients from its menu.
Panera has announced that it plans to remove the 150 ingredients, which includes preservatives, artificial sweeteners and more, from its menu by the end of 2016. The cafe chain has released a list of ingredients that it won’t use and is calling it the “No No List”.
Here are the 150 ingredients that Panera plans to remove, or already has, from its menu by the end of next year.

Panera isn’t the only restaurant that’s cleaning up its menus. Chipotle Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE:CMG) recently announced that it no longer has GMOs on its menus. Both Tyson Foods, Inc. (NYSE:TSN) and McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) have also recently announced that they will no longer use chickens that were given human antibiotics.
Subway promised to remove a chemical found in yoga mats from its bread last year and The Coca-Cola Co’s (NYSE:KO) Powerade agreed to remove a chemical found in flame retardants from its drinks at around the same time.
