The lawsuit against Amazon claims that the company treats on-demand workers for its one-hour delivery service like employees, but doesn’t pay them as such. These workers say they have to wear uniforms, work dedicated schedules and often work six or seven days a week, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The on-demand workers are seeking compensation for their work. This includes the cost of fuel and insurance. They also want backpay from the company. The lawsuit claims that Amazon doesn’t give employees tips from customers if they were made with a credit cards and pays them less than minimum wage, WSJ notes.

Amazon has faced lawsuits in the past for not giving backpay to employees. One such case involved employees that spent up to 30 minutes before and after work going through security checks without pay. A judge ruled that the company had to pay employees for their time in these security checks.
