Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX) is turning heads with its two new February drinks.

New Starbucks Drinks

The coffee chain is known for its consistency in rolling out seasonal drinks that fit the time of the year, such as the autumnal Pumpkin Spice Latte, December holiday lattes and plenty of chocolate beverages for Valentine’s Day.

Starbucks is changing the game this year with two hot drinks that came out of left field in the smoked butterscotch latte and the citrus green tea latte.

The molten chocolate drinks are no longer available but Starbucks is hoping that its two newest creations will appease those refined palates.

The citrus green tea latte is made with matcha powder, steamed milk and a citrus-mint syrup. The smoked butterscotch latte consists of a shot of espresso with steamed milk and add-ins of smoked butterscotch sauce and finishing sprinkle of butterscotch sugar.

The two limited-edition flavors will be released in the U.S. and Canada beginning February 16. Both are creations of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room.

The experimental lab is a 15,000 square-feet storefront in Seattle where the creative people at Starbucks concoct a wide variety of beverages.

This is the first time the drinks created there will be available nationwide.

SBUX stock is up 0.98% Tuesday.
