Facebook Messenger (NASDAQ:FB) and 1-800-Flowers.Com Inc (NASDAQ:FLWS) have teamed up to ease the process of ordering flowers.

Facebook MessengerThe chatting app’s bid to become more available and effective to companies attempting to conducting business via the web took an important step forward with its new partnership.

1-800-Flowers.Com is among the country’s leading flower-ordering websites and now, you can access the company’s services in a simple and effective manner via Facebook Messenger.

All you have to do is chat with the 1-800 Flowers’ Facebook Messenger account to order flowers for a special someone. Additionally, a mobile shopping app has linked up with the messaging app.

Spring is another e-commerce site that uses a chatbot to help in the navigation of an online consumer’s web order.

FB stock is up 1.5% Tuesday. FLWS stock is up 3.3% Tuesday.
