‘Parks & Recreation’ Writer-Producer Harris Wittels Dead at 30

Harris Wittels, writer and executive producer for Parks & Recreation, died on Thursday.

Harris Wittels, 30, was discovered dead in his Los Angeles home by his assistant. The cause of death is unknown, but police suspect it was a drug overdose. Toxicity testing will be done and results should be in in six to weight weeks, reports The Los Angeles Times.

Friends of Harris Wittels also believe that drug addiction was behind his death. Amy Poehler and Rob Lowe were among the celebrities that attributed his death to his drug addiction. Sarah Silverman also sent out a Tweet in honor of the late celebrity, L.A. Times notes.
