Google Fuchsia may just be the next big operating system released by Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG,NASDAQ:GOOGL).

Google Fuchsia has been confirmed by Google employee Brian Swetland, but the company hasn’t made any official announcements yet. What is known about the new operating system is that it isn’t based on Android or Linux.

  • It appears that the operating system is using Flutter for its user interface.
  • The new operating system is majorly written in the Dart programming language.
  • Escher is the renderer being used for the project.
