It’s not Fall yet, but that hasn’t stopped news and rumors about Starbucks Corporation’s (NASDAQ:SBUX) Pumpkin Spice Lattes from making their way around the web.
While the exact release date of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes hasn’t been announced for 2016. Bustle’s Megan Grant has put in the detective work to come up with an estimate.
Grant points out that for the last two years, the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes have been released the day after Labor Day. Labor Day this year falls on Sept. 5, which means that it’s likely the drink will become available on Sept. 6.
It’s also possible that fans of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes will be able to get them a bit sooner. The company has held small challenges over the last two years that gave customers access to the drinks before their official release dates.
The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes will also be released in bottle form this year. These drinks will be available at several grocery stores across the country, which is an expansion over the exclusive offer at Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ:COST) in 2015.
The coffee chain will also be releasing three new Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes products in grocery stores this year. They include a K cups for the flavor, a pumpkin spice latte version of the Via Instant Latte mix and an iced espresso pumpkin spice latte in a bottle. A spokesperson said these items will be available in stores by September, reports Delish.
McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) will be challenging the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes with the release of its McCafe Pumpkin Spice Latte in the United States on Aug. 31.
